The Willows-38, a single-storey lodge, consists of a kitchen with gas oven, hob, and grill, microwave, fridge/freezer, and washing machine, a dining room, and a sitting room with Smart TV, gas fire, and books. The bedrooms consist of a double and twin. There is a shower room with walk-in shower, basin, and WC. Outside, there is an enclosed side decking with furniture, a non-enclosed rear garden and off-road, designated parking for three cars. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 0.9 miles, pub 1 mile. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Return year after year to The Willows-38. Note: There are steps up to the property, please take care. Note: Washing machine is shared.

Area
Long Preston is an attractive Yorkshire Dales village in Ribblesdale, twelve miles from Skipton (popularly known as the 'Gateway to the Dales'), four miles from Settle. To the north, the landscape rises to the fells, moors and picturesque valleys of the Dales; to the south are the wetlands of the Ribble Valley which, in turn, sweep upward to the magnificent wilderness of Bowland. The village benefits from several large, tree lined, village greens, with footpaths leading direct to the surrounding hills, and it also boasts two excellent pubs with first rate cuisine. The railway station on the edge of the village provides access to the famous Settle-Carlisle Railway line which crosses some of the most beautiful and inspiring upland scenery in the country. Nearby Settle is a bustling market town with a weekly market, the centre being dominated by the Shambles, an historic 3-storey building with shops on two levels and houses above, and the Town Hall. There is a good selection of restaurants and pubs and a public swimming pool.

The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
