The Fairhaven consists of a kitchen with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, and a living/dining room with TV, electric fire stove, and dining seating for four. The bedrooms include a double with en-suite shower and a twin, plus a bathroom. Enclosed decking with furniture and off-road parking for one car. Two well-behaved pets welcome. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in rent. Highchair available. The Fairhaven is a splendid escape to North Yorkshire. Note: Pets not to be left unattended or allowed on furniture. Note: Guests will receive a 10% discount at the Farmers Arms, a dog-friendly pub, and Little Drummer Boy - COCINA tapas bar. Note: EV charging not permitted at this property. This village and civil parish nestles in the Richmondshire district of North Yorkshire with close proximity to Yorkshire Dales National Park and Nidderdale AONB. Home to Catterick Racecourse, one of the busiest in North Yorkshire; racing at Catterick Bridge began as early as the mid-17th Century, and offers a charming blend of old and new in its Grandstand framework, as well as a fun and relaxing day out for everyone, whatever the occasion. The area boasts a lovely village green with Brough Beck trickling through to meet the River Swale, an idyllic place to enjoy an afternoon stroll, with parks, safe paddling areas and small waterfalls while local businesses, the sports ground and public houses provide convenience to visitors from far and wide. Nearby, for further amenities, is the ancient market town of Richmond, with a vast history embedded within its grand castle walls and numerous shops, pubs and restaurants to enjoy. Admire the elegant Georgian architecture lining many of the old cobbled streets, including the Georgian Theatre, hosting regular productions. The Yorkshire Dales National Park boasts the three peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Ingleborough and Whernside as well as gentle strolls and ample walking for all abilities. Farther afield is Nidderdale, an Area of Outstanding National Beauty, brought together with stunning moorland and a network of lush green pastures.
