Wells is a historic harbour town, situated on the estuary, nestled between the sandy beaches of the Holkham Estate and the tranquil creeks which meander through the marshes. The town itself has an excellent range of shops, making it easy to stock up on supplies as well as spend a pleasant afternoon browsing for gifts and souvenirs to take home.
