Had a lovely week at Ramblers Annex, really well equipped accommodation. Beautiful cottage gardens and very friendly family. All the accommodation is very modern and comfortable and very clean. I would certainly recommend it to friends and family.

If you’re happy to have the view from your sitting room and bedroom windows as a gravel car park, the owners coming in and going out at any time as well as anywhere between 3.00 in the morning and arriving back after midnight; if you’re happy hearing this and having them walk past your bedroom and sitting room windows to access said car park; if you’re happy to have a shared garden with no privacy as they and their dogs share it with you and seem to be always around when you are; if you’re happy to be attached directly to their accommodation and to have the constant feeling of Ring surveillance from the Ring device that overlooks the car park gates and your patio seating then, this is the place for you. If you’re wanting a retreat and privacy with nobody going in and out at all hours of the day without any sense of how much this compromises your sleep or experience, go somewhere else. An expensive sleep deprivation exercise.

Just spent a week at the Ramblers Annex. Received a warm welcome from Steve, Catherine & Gemma (& Bailey & Harley the sheepdogs). The annexe is spacious, clean & extremely well equipped. Every last detail was well thought out from white towelling robes, to condiments in the kitchen - you want for nothing!! We loved the welcoming touches such as a cake, flowers, tea & coffee and a pint of milk. The annexe is close to the village of Mattishall and just a car ride away from lots of the neighbouring villages.100% recommend this to anyone especially those with a dog, we will definitely be back.
