Great cottage to stay in, good location, nice and clean, really spacious.. Have stayed in a number of self-catered cottages before with Sykes and this was definitely the largest. Only comment is that there was only one toilet roll and a couple of dishwasher capsules provided - when I queried this, it was explained that this was due to the cottage being self-catered and it was assumed we would go out and buy our own. I understand this, but have never had this situation in any of the other Sykes cottages I have stayed in, they usually provide the basics in terms of sufficient toilet roll, dishwasher capsules and other essentials. May be worth highlighting that these aren't provided here in the description - we deliberately bought all of our food with us etc to avoid having to go shopping during Covid-19 pandemic, but unfortunately had to then go to the shops anyway in order to be able to go to the toilet! Otherwise, was a great stay and the cottages are lovely.

Accommodation was easy to book.. accommodation was better then I expected really comfortable for 4 adults. Plenty of room and table and chairs outside was a bonus! really enjoyed our stay. Directions to the property were detailed and clear. very quite and peaceful setting.

Our first reaction when we walked in was WOW.. The photos do not do the property justice and the rooms were larger than expected. The master bedroom was massive and the two shower rooms were impressive. To be honest we were a little worried as the standard of accommodation was higher than expected and we though it might have been aimed more at adults - however most of the people staying there were families with young children. Although the cottages were attached we did not hear any noise from any other families staying there - we were more worried about our kids disturbing others to be honest but was able to relax. There was plenty of parking and the courtyard had recently be paved which made carrying cases etc in very easy. The kitchen was very well equipped and clean - we however did have to look up how to work the washing machine/tumble dryer. The internet was much better than expected as the cottages are quite rural. We did stay harvest week so the farm was probably slightly busier than normal but not enough to disturb the peace and tranquillity of the cottages especially as the courtyard is walled. The only thing that I would have liked to see was a little more info about the farm - we did find the play area after a little investigation but overall both us and our guests were impressed and hope to book again for next year.

What a find! The arrival instructions were easy to follow to the gated property with plenty of parking space. The cottage was lovely and warm when we arrived and the homemade cakes were a nice touch, delicious and much appreciated. We chose Sycamore Cottage for our holiday as we were two couples looking for a two bedroom, two bathroom property and this was just what we'd hoped for. We found it very spacious, comfortable, well-equiped and extremely clean. We would highly recommend Sycamore Cottage and although we were out every day visiting points of interest we could have been just as happy spending time relaxing indoors. Thank you for providing such a lovely holiday home.

This was one of the best equipped places we have ever stayed in.. It was comfortable and in a brilliant location for exploring the North Norfolk countryside. Welcoming on arrival with some milk provided with some very naughty but nice cakes. We will definitely return.

As I am nearly 80 and disabled it was quite a shock to arrive and find I could not park near the cottage to unload.. There was no offer of help. Had I known this I would not have booked this cottage and that would have been a pity because there is no doubt that it is the best cottage I have rented in the area. Very comfortable and large. All this needs is a small trolley of the type you see at a garden centre and the problem is solved. Another problem was the concrete path to the cottage, there was a warning notice on the gate to warn you that the path is uneven. It certainly is and is most unsuitable for a disability buggy. A cheap surface skim would cure this.

Sycamore is in a very nice country area - good for visiting the North Norfolk coast as well as the countryside and country towns.. WiFi was a little intermittent at times but that was no problem.

A lovely cottage, building, fiittings, all kitchen wares, just everything was top quality.. Mr Pope came to see us to make sure everything was ok. He let us know he would be about if there as any problem (there wasn't). Reassuring and no way intrusive. Although no phone signal wifi was available so Whatsapp gave us communication. We will revisit! Thank you Mr & Mrs Pope.

It was re-assuring to keep our vehicle behind security gates. The absence of traffic noise made for a very quiet and peaceful holiday, considering also that the property was located on a working farm there was no smell and no noisy farm machinery. The owner kindly arranged for delivery of a daily paper.

Spacious and comfortable. Very well equipped. All on one level and uncluttered - making it excellent for those with poor mobility. Helpful, friendly owners. Only downsides - no, or poor, phone signal. However the owners say they intend to install an emergency telephone. Access via small country lanes, but sat nav found it ok.
