Teal Barn is a single-storey barn conversion on the edge of St Weonards. The cottage has a king-size double bedroom which can be offered as a twin if needed, and a twin room, along with a bathroom. There is also a kitchen with dining area, and a sitting area. Outside is off road parking for two cars, and a patio area with furniture, open to a field which leads down to the owner's lake. Teal Barn is ideally placed for enjoying the countryside of Herefordshire, as well as towns such as Ross-on-Wye and Hay-on-Wye.

All ground floor. Two bedrooms: 1 x king-size double, 1 x twin. Bathroom with walk-in shower, basin and WC. Kitchen with dining area. Sitting area.

Area
St Weonards is a small village in Herefordshire, with a shop and post office, close to pretty walks. The village makes a great base for exploring the lovely Herefordshire countryside, with walks from the village and easy access to the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons), Symonds Yat and Forest of Dean.

Herefordshire offers visitors the chance to journey through lush green countryside, enjoying splendid black-and-white timbered villages, a magnificent cathedral city, a fairytale Georgian castle at Eastnor or books galore in famous Hay-on-Wye.

Teal Barn is located in s great position to explore in every direction - Wales, Wye Valley, Forest of Dean.. And within sight of the barn itself are a series of lakes, providing a wonderful backdrop. The accommodation was spacious, warm and comfortable. It was a privilege to be able to take our dog with us. Wifi reception good. Would have liked to have seen a 'gite book' for recording local experiences and recommendations.

Teal Barn was spacious, comfortable and everything that we needed was provided.. We absolutely loved the location and the view across the owners lake to the open fields beyond was amazing. If you want to get away from it all, we would definitely recommend Teal Barn.

A stunning peaceful setting.. Very comfortable accommodation —ideal for 2 x couples Everything spotless. Would suggest that a couple of baking dishes and more cutlery would be appreciated- only basic amount of cutlery provided - needed more teaspoons— but plenty of crockery A minor quibble in an otherwise lovely holiday home Thank you

Whilst we were aware that this accommodation was only equipped with a fridge, a freezer ( if only small) would have been of benefit, particularly over the Christmas period.. Otherwise facilities could not be faulted and the owners had thought of everything and the welcome goodies were lovely!

The cottage was very well equipped so I was surprised they had not spent a few pounds on a shelf in the shower for shampoo etc.. I have severe osteoporosis, so this would have made getting clean a lot safer for me.

We really enjoyed our stay at Teal Barn.. The accommodation was very comfortable, tastefully appointed and had lots of additions to make sure our stay was successful. I would highly recommend this property and the location.It was set in a peaceful area but near historic villages and tourist attractions.

Cosmetically it was very good but certainly not suitable for dogs there was no enclosed outside space where the dog could go couldn't have doors open in case dog got out couldn't have windows open because the farm cat would get in my husband tried twice to take the dog for a walk but only got a few yards before one of the farm dogs came up barking with the fur on its back up if you want a lie in not the right place as the tractors etc start about 7.. 00am

Above average cottage in all respects.. Clean and comfortable accommodation in a beautiful setting. Plenty of dog walks around the farmland. Easy access to nearby towns and country pubs. Extra touches by Julie much appreciated.
