Symonds Yat West sits to the edge of the River Wye, enjoying views across the river to the home of the Symonds Yat Rock, one of the major attractions within the Wye Valley.

You are well served with access to pubs, restaurants, the maze, butterfly zoo and oriental gardens, along with boat trips and canoe hire. You can cross the water via the foot ferry giving access to the rock where you can climb the 120 metres to enjoy the views or why not follow the river along the Wye Valley foot path, or the Offa s Dyke for a little more rugged scenery.
