Take the spectacular drive up the Llanthony Valley through the Black Mountains and over to Hay on Wye which has an eclectic range of book shops and the internationally renowned Hay Literary Festival every May. Travel north to the beautiful city of Hereford with a good selection of independent shops as well as well known high street brands, ancient black and white houses and the cathedral which is home to the Mappa Mundi, the largest medieval map known in the world.
