The village is renowned for its prominent landmark the Cathedral of the Forest . It s great for walkers, surrounded by countryside with well waymarked paths, with both the Offa s Dyke footpath and Wye Valley Walk accessible from Redbrook (2 miles). The Forest of Dean and Wye Valley have many medieval and market towns to explore, such as Abergavenny, Ross on Wye and Monmouth (all within 22 miles). For adventure outdoors, there is canoeing and rock climbing at Symonds Yat (8 miles), and mountain biking for all abilities throughout the Forest of Dean, to name but a few. Whilst the retreat is situated within the grounds of the owner's home, guests will have access via the front which faces onto the village. The ground floor of the property is open plan and spacious, enjoying natural light from the oak framed double doors that open onto the patio area. Guests can relax in the lounge area. Here, a generously sized corner sofa is perfect for catching up with friends, and a well stocked bookcase and Smart TV are also available. For dining, a farmhouse table and chairs are perfect for guests.
