My husband and I stayed here for a weekend with friends. The cottage is beautifully furnished, the rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. We enjoyed a relaxed evening in the stunning kitchen/dining room, and spent many peaceful hours reading in the cosy living room. The location is great, with access to walking routes and near to a number of excellent pubs. We look forward to our next stay.

What a fabulous home, well furnished and stocked, beautiful garden with shallow stream at the end. Comfy beds, powerful showers and very warm. Lovely wood burner with a huge basket of logs. Lovely welcome tray of biscuits, drink, tea etc. Beautiful village, spotless with very friendly neighbours. A great place to stay for a family of 6..... Plenty of room to do your own thing. Lovely kitchen space, great to cook in...will definitely be returning.

My wife and I spent a weekend here with friends and enjoyed every moment. The house itself is spacious, comfortable, and extremely well outfitted. The village has such tranquil walks and a great selection of high-end gastropubs and restaurants (the Kingham Plough is exceptional!) that you're spoilt for things to do. Can't recommend it enough.

We have stayed twice at Orchard House, we love it and are keen to continue returning. For us it's been a slice of peacefulness away from London life. It combines home comforts, the charm and cosiness of a Cotswold village with plenty of options for country pursuits. The house is wonderful - done up to a very high standard with a cosy living room, very comfortable bedrooms and a spacious and really well designed kitchen/ dinning area. Lots of lovely little touches - White Company soaps, lovely linen and a fab coffee machine. Great pubs within walking distance inc fantastic gastropub (the Fox). Plenty of walks and beautiful villages all very close and loads more options within a short drive. Perfect for a quiet relaxing weekend or an active outdoors week.

My Partner and I have actually stayed here on two occasions, having enjoyed our first visit so much it seemed impossible not to return! The location is fantastic, with picturesque running/walking routes and numerous pubs, gastropubs and restaurants all within a short distance. Whilst the time we visited with a car felt more convenient, we were equally able to enjoy the weekend when we relied upon the train from London and local taxis. The first time we visited was at the beginning of December, and the plethora of independent shops in Broadway (a nearby village) coupled with Daylesford, made for the perfect Christmas shopping offering. The cosiness of the living room with the large sofas and wood burning stove meant the evenings were spent out of the cold, playing board games with a glass of wine in front of the fire. The second time was in the Spring and we enjoyed the long walks, beautiful surroundings and drinks on the patio. Within the property itself, you can tell every detail has been thought of and designed specifically to create the perfect holiday home, from the expansive, open plan kitchen with the large farmhouse kitchen all the way down to the little details of high quality linens and toiletries. It is my favourite holiday home in the UK and one we would certainly love to return to.

My husband and I have stayed at Orchard House twice in the last year. It is such a beautifully designed and furnished home, with every attention to detail a holiday home should have! The rooms are spacious and the beds exceptionally comfy!! We had the best nights sleep in years in the master bedroom. The kitchen and living areas are very large but still retain a homely feel throughout. Though we have visited in November and in March, the house is so perfectly located that we didn’t need sunny weather every day to enjoy ourselves. We can walk to local pubs and it’s only a short drive to many picturesque villages and stores. Now we have found Orchard House, we won’t be renting anywhere else in the Cotswolds!! In fact, we think it’s the best holiday home we have ever stayed in.

We stayed for a weekend with friends and had such a lovely time in this well kept and spotlessly clean three bed cottage. The kitchen was roomy and perfect for cooking a meal for our group at the big farmhouse style wooden table; we had some lovely lunches in the sun on the patio too. We also walked to nearby pubs for dinner and did some fantastic (if a little hilly!) cycles around the local area. We even found a wild swimming spot. Couldn’t recommend it more for a countryside getaway, and can’t wait to go back later this year.

A girls holiday for a friends birthday.. Beautiful property in a pretty village. Very well located for visiting other villages and towns in the local area and further afield. The property was very cosy, comfortable and suited the 5 of us nicely. There is something for everyone whether that be places of historical interest, walking, shopping or eating out. I had requested one of the bedrooms be set up as a twin room instead of a three quarter, although on arrival an oversight meant it had been set up as a three quarter. Following a call to the office, the housekeeper had arrived at the property within the hour [we would have done it ourselves although bedding was stored in another part of the property that was secured]. Excellent customer service that could not be faulted. Would happily recommend to others as a relaxing and comfortable place to stay.

Orchard House exceeded our expectations.. With a three year old and a one year old we really appreciated the huge kitchen diner which provided the perfect space for the boys to play.

We generally loved our stay at the property, but there are a couple of maintenance issues that we would like to raise.. There were a number of light bulbs not working throughout the property, the most inconvenient being the lights to the property entrance. This made key collection from the safe at night extremely difficult due to it being pitch black! Perhaps a quick bulb check could be made before guests arrive? Also, on our arrival the refuse and recycling bins were almost full. We were lead to believe that the bin collection woupd be during our stay and the bins were placed onto the road, presumably by the housekeeper. However this wasn’t the case as the bin collection is fortnightly. As a consequence, when we left the bins were over flowing. Perhaps provision should be made for refuse to be removed after guests have left the property? Finally, the Roman blind in the kitchen was found to be broken. This and the non working light bulbs I reported directly to the office, during our stay.

It was so good to stay in a cottage that was really well equipped, comfortable, and taken care of, as near to one’s own home as could be.. Many thanks to the owner and especially the housekeeper, who keeps up this high standard week after week, for us all to enjoy. May this go on for years to come!
