Just a short walk from Stow-on-the-Wold's cafes, pubs, and shops, this home makes an excellent base for exploring the Cotswolds. It's contemporary yet cosy – we're particularly fond of the wood burner in the living area and the sun-kissed garden. Travelling with little ones in tow? The playroom, as well as the third bedroom with two single beds, are perfect for youngsters. When you fancy a change of scenery, you can walk into Stow or take day trips to Cheltenham, Stratford-upon-Avon, or Bourton-on-the-Water.
Home truths: *If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair upon request. There's also a playroom with toys, safety plugs, and child-friendly bowls, cups, and cutlery.
*The third bedroom has a small single bed with a pull-out single underneath. We think it's only suitable for children.
*Off-road parking is available for two cars.
*Your host provides an initial supply of logs and kindling between October and March. You'll need to pick up further supplies at your own expense.
*The Stow Horse Fair is held each year in May and October. Stow will be very busy a day or two before and after each fair, and local shops, pubs, and restaurants will be closed.
