Wayside Cottage is a lovely cottage nestled in Hayton, near Pocklington, East Riding of Yorkshire. Hosting three bedrooms: one ground-floor king-size (zip/link), two first-floor double-size, one with en-suite bathroom, sleeping a total of six guests. Downstairs has a family bathroom, an open-plan kitchen/diner, a utility and sitting room. Outside has an enclosed rear lawned garden and patio area with furniture and hot tub, as well as ample off-road parking. Wayside Cottage is a wonderful choice for a rural break to East Yorkshire. Pocklington is a bustling town situated on the foot of the Yorkshire Wolds in the Vale of York, just 13 miles away from the city of York. The town is best known for its Burnby Hall Gardens with two large lakes, home to the National Collection of water lilies. Within the surrounding area you will find attractions including Castle Howard, Sledmere House, and the historic city of York, where you will find a larger selection of amenities.
