Situated on a no through lane which leads to the sea via a footpath, the cottage is wonderfully located. The tranquil coastal village of Worth Matravers enjoys a lovely spot in the heart of the Purbeck Hills. The stunning Dorset coast is just a mile away, with the coastal path leading along to Chapman s Pool (1.5 miles), Winspit Quarry (0.5 miles) and Old Harry Rocks (7 miles). The popular seaside town of Swanage (4 miles) has a beautiful beach and a traditional promenade, or you could visit the ruins of Corfe Castle (4.5 miles) or the pretty village of Studland (6.5 miles). From Studland, you can catch a ferry to Poole or to Brownsea Island. Also nearby are Durlston Country Park (5.5 miles), Lulworth Cove (16 miles) and the Hartland Moor National Nature Reserve (6.5 miles). On entering this fabulous detached property which is set on one level apart from a few internal steps you can leave coats and boots in the hall which leads through to the light and spacious lounge. The décor is an eclectic mix of old and new with a mid 20th Century vibe. With sea views, this is a lovely space to relax in and it boasts plenty of seating, a Smart TV/DVD and an open fire. The pretty dining room is an ideal space for enjoying a family meal and has feature stone walls and a picture window with beautiful views. A couple of steps lead up from the office and into the hallway. Exploring the property further you will find three comfortable bedrooms. There s a double room with a 5 bed, TV, sea views, and a door out to the garden. This room also features an en suite shower room (accessed via bead curtain rather than a door) with shower and WC.
