Swanage is a traditional coastal town with a popular sandy beach and a great selection of independent shops, cafes and restaurants. Rolling hills surround the town, ensuring you ll have the best of both worlds when it comes to walking routes, with the South West Coast Path, Ballard Down and Durlston Country Park all within 2 miles. From here, you can take the steam train to Corfe Castle, which is home to castle ruins cared for by the National Trust as well as pretty streets to explore. Within 14 miles are many attractions including Monkey World, The Tank Museum, RSPB Arne, walled town of Wareham, Studland and Tyneham village. Adjacent to the owners home, yet with privacy assured, a private entrance gate leads to the door into this first floor apartment. Once inside, you are met with a small vestibule and narrow staircase leading to the property. There is a welcoming open plan living space, with comfortable seating, TV and room to dine. The room is cleverly divided to create a bedroom space, complete with a double bed, distant sea glimpse and a Juliet balcony. Due to the setting within the eaves, there are some areas of restricted head height and a floor level beam beside the bed, care is to be taken. Heading back through the lounge area and up a step you will find the compact kitchen, which is equipped with an electric hob, combination microwave oven and fridge with ice compartment. Just next door is a contemporary bathroom with shower over bath and WC. The property is accessed through a private courtyard with seating and covered bike storage, an ideal spot to enjoy your morning coffee.
