This Grade II listed cottage has been standing on an iconic Shaftesbury Hill for over 450 years – you might even recognise it from a famous 1970s Hovis advert. It's a typical cosy English cottage, so expect some uneven floors and lots of character. Start your morning with coffee in the courtyard and soak up the countryside views, then unwind by the fire with a glass of wine after exploring Shaftesbury. Independent shops, cafes, and pubs are just a short stroll away, while the landscapes of the New Forest and Cranborne Chase are less than an hour’s drive.

*This home has uneven floors, steps, and some drops, so it's not suitable for children or those with reduced mobility.
*While the home can sleep up to three people, the maximum occupancy is two guests.
*When using the wood-burning stove, your host asks that you only use the firewood provided and that you follow the instructions given.
*Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. There's free on-street parking at the bottom of the hill.
