Poole, like its near neighbour, Bournemouth, is a popular destination for holidaymakers, offering a large number of attractions including boat trips to Brownsea Island, water sports in the harbour, a water park, and the beautiful beach in the well heeled suburb of Sandbanks. Of course, there is also a good range of shops and eateries in the town, perfect for an afternoon of browsing or perhaps sampling the local seafood.
