Warmwell Lodge is a charming, yet modern cottage situated in Warmwell near to the town of Dorchester in Dorset and is home to wonderful walks nearby. Sleeping up to four people, one double bedroom or one twin room, as well as having a main bathroom. The rest of the cottage has a bright modern kitchen, a dining room and a sitting room with a log burner. Outside is off road parking for two cars and a lawned garden to the rear with garden furniture. Warmwell Lodge welcomes two dogs and it is suitable for a small family or couples, based in an ideal location for lots of walks but only a short drive from all amenities.

Area
Warmwell derives it’s name from a well of tepid water, and played a key part in world war II with RAF airfield used by the RAF If you want to continue on a theme of military history then why not explore the Tank Museum at Bovington just 8 miles away. Monkey World rescue is also an interesting day out and just around the corner from the Tank Museum. Should you be craving the sight and sounds of the sea then you are also ideally placed, with Lulworth Cove and Durdle just 8 miles away to the East and Weymouth and it’s golden sands and shallow water just 8 miles to the west. You will find many local café’s and restaurants in both these locations where you can sample local fish and award-winning produce. Be sure to enjoy an ice cream on the seafront.

What an amazing lodge house! We had a lovely stay with our four year old; having horses right outside and pheasants wandering the garden was amazing. The lodge itself is lovely and far roomier than we were expecting; a bathroom with a toilet and a separate downstairs toilet which makes life easier! Also didn’t realise there was a tumble dryer as well as a washing machine and hairdryers too! The welcome tray of Dorset tea and biscuits was very welcome and the information pack containing maps of walks around the estate was incredibly useful. Such a special holiday!
