Surrounded by rolling countryside, this picturesque Dorset village is the ideal base for days spent enjoying long walks or riding. The village itself has a vibrant centre, complete with pub, galleries and tea rooms and being situated near to the market town of Bridport, there is plenty to do here. Bridport has a varied selection of shops selling both essential supplies and vintage treasures, or head on to West Bay where you can watch the boats moving about the harbour or let off some steam on the beach. With good road links nearby, you can easily explore the many attractions lining the Jurassic Coast and admire the stunning scenery as you travel. A shared driveway leads to this detached cottage. The main entrance can be found to the front of the property, accessed via a sloping gravel path that winds through the garden. Once inside you are met with an entrance hall giving access into the inviting sitting room. Full of character features, this welcoming room has an inglenook with wood burner and TV for those chilly winter evenings in. Next you will come to the charming country style kitchen/diner. This well equipped space has an inglenook fireplace with log burner, an electric range style oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. Also leading off the entrance hall is the utility room, complete with washing machine, tumble dryer and WC. When the day is done, take the winding stairs from the sitting room to the first floor where you can choose from the four lovely bedrooms, which all overlook the garden. There is a super king size zip and link (which can be arranged as a twin on request), two king size bedrooms (one with a TV) and a single bedroom. Completing this floor is the stylish bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC, as well as a separate shower room with WC. Doors lead out from the kitchen into the pretty garden, which sits mostly to the front and is staged across multiple levels. Immediately outside of the kitchen area, you will find a wonderful decked area with stunning views and the chance of spotting some of the resident wildlife, including woodpeckers. Here you can sit at the table and unwind with a drink, fire up the BBQ or take a dip in the hot tub. Younger members of the family will enjoy racing around the generous lawns before taking a bounce on the trampoline. Off road parking for four cars is available to the front of the property.
