The market town of Blandford Forum is located beside the River Stour in Dorset, England. Most of the town, notable for its Georgian architecture, was rebuilt in the 18th century after it was destroyed by fire in 1731. The Blandford Georgian Fayre is a yearly celebration of its Georgian ancestry that takes place during the first week of May and features speeches, historical re-enactments, music, and dance.
