Area The market town, Blandford Forum is located by the River Stour in the English county of Dorset. Most of the renowned Georgian-style town was rebuilt in the 18th century after it was completely destroyed by fire in 1731. With ideas by nearby architects John and William Bastard, King George II donated money to reconstruct the town centre. An annual celebration of its Georgian roots, the Blandford Georgian Fayre takes place in the first week of May and features speeches, historical re-enactments, music, and dance. The late Bank Holiday weekend is when the Great Dorset Steam Fair, one of the town's greatest events, takes place. A festival with approximately 2,000 displays that are mostly colourful and an old-fashioned steam funfair. with a variety of independent shops, supermarkets, bars, restaurants, cafés, and a Georgian tearoom.

We had a fantastic weekend staying here. Hot tub was on and ready to go, the host answered my query via text straight away. The bed was comfortable, and facilities were spot on within the accommodation.
The only one thing I would point out is, we had to google how to work the hob function, maybe not an issues for anyone else!! And i was unable to connect to the wifi.
We felt safe and relaxed, very private and peaceful. Can't wait to return, and book one of the other options (treehouse)... 100% book if you come across this company... also a lovely butchers in town to grab something nice to cook. Thanks
