Head to the coast to discover Devon s sandy beaches, including Woolacombe (18.5 miles), Saunton (23 miles) and Croyde (21.5 miles) together with hidden coves, including those at Lee Bay (19 miles) and Woody Bay (4 miles). Step back in time aboard a steam train at Woody Bay station (1.5 miles) a small branch line, which runs past the mill and through the beautiful Devon countryside. There is much more to see in the local area, including the Wildlife and Dinosaur Park (9 miles), Exmoor Zoo (8 miles) and Watermouth Castle (13 miles), with its family friendly attractions. Tucked away up a long private lane lies this beautiful, detached property, which is situated on a 10,000 acre working farm and is bursting with charm and character. The lane is concrete until the final stretch, which is then made up of stones. Step inside this immaculate property and enter the lounge which has a cosy wood burner, comfortable seating, and a Smart TV it is ideal for kicking back and relaxing in. Open the sliding doors and step into the dining room which could also be used for family board games. From here, head into the conservatory where you will find another dining table as well as some comfortable seating. The perfectly equipped kitchen has an electric hob and oven, an oil fired Redfyre range cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and washing machine. It is a great space for cooking lazy breakfasts or trying out new recipes. There is also a useful boot room for hanging coats and storing wellies after a countryside walk. Completing the downstairs accommodation is a family bathroom with a shower over bath and WC. When the day draws to a close, head up the steep cottage style stairs and retire to bed in one of the two bedrooms, both with views: a double and a twin zip and link (which can be made up as a super king size on request). There is also a beautiful shower room with a shower and WC. Step outside from the back door into the garden with a patio and outside seating for everyone, with far reaching countryside views. You will also find a gas BBQ, making it the ideal spot for an evening of al fresco dining. The enclosed, lawned garden wraps around three sides of the property and is great for children to play in. The property also features ample off road parking.
