The long sandy beaches of Westward Ho! Saunton and Croyde are within easy reach too and are popular surfing spots if you enjoy watersports. To make your break extra special you could take the iconic day trip across to Lundy Island from nearby Bideford or enjoy long evening walks through the Braunton or Northam Burrows, where you ll be sure to witness romantic sunsets when the weather allows.
