A flourishing coastal town with miles of sand beaches nearby, excellent coastal walking, everything for fishermen and sailors, proximity to Exeter, and a wealth of things to do and see all add to the town's appeal. The Crealy Park theme park, Bicton Park stately home and gardens, the Donkey Sanctuary at nearby Sidmouth, Woodbury Common, the cathedral city of Exeter, the Sandy Bay World of Country Life, and the endlessly captivating Jurassic Coast with its famous fossil deposits stretching eastward into Dorset are all options in addition to messing around on boats, relaxing on the beach, taking the ferry up the estuary, or visiting Dawlish Warren nature reserve. Exmouth has some of the best tourist attractions and a seaside lifestyle around.
