A short drive from the property you'll find the historic market town of Barnstaple and its array of pubs, shops, restaurants, cinema, and a theatre, and Braunton in the other direction, a smaller yet pretty village with a range of shops and restaurants plus close to the Braunton Burrows and Crow Point. The long sandy beaches of Westward Ho! Saunton and Croyde are also within easy reach and are popular surfing spots if you enjoy watersports.
