Try your hand at windsurfing, canoeing and fishing, or for those who like dry land, push yourself to the limits on an 8 mile mountain bike course. For a family day out, Alton Towers, Matlock Farm Park, Chatsworth House and Kedleston Hall are all a short drive away, as are pretty towns and villages such as Matlock Bath, Ashbourne, Bakewell and Buxton. Step inside and a large dining hall welcomes you, with room for your coats and boots, very useful after a day of exploring. The dining area has a large dining table seating all your group.
