Area
Troutbeck Bridge is a small village in the Lake District National Park that can be found between Windermere and Ambleside and is close to the popular tourist destination of Kirkstone Pass. This sleepy hamlet, comprised of a scattering of Lakeland cottages, is home to a bustling and very popular local pub serving real ales and fine food. Windermere and Ambleside, both teeming with retail establishments, restaurants, and other services, are not far away. Visit the Lake Windermere Aquarium or the Grizedale Forest Park for some lakeside fun; if you're travelling with kids, you can't miss the World of Beatrix Potter in neighbouring Bowness, where cutting-edge technology brings the beloved children's author's characters to life. Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick, and the Lakeland Mountains are all within driving distance of Troutbeck Bridge, making it a great base from which to explore the region.

Region
Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.
