What a find, it's a cottage with the WOW factor. Its immaculate and has everything you could possibly imagine. The log burner was very welcome after a wet walk and after paddle boarding on Windermere. We didn't want to leave and cant wait to go back. Thank you John, Hazel and Twig for the wonderful welcome. Best wishes Richard, leigh, Rachel and Andrew x

Arrived at the cottage to a wow factor. Super clean. Simply a beautiful cottage set on a farm. Views was beautiful lots of hills. Just perfect. A very quiet area which was perfect for what we wanted. Log fire was already for us to put on in the evening. I would 100% recommend the cottage to anyone and would return in a heart beat. The perfect relaxation weekend. Thank you also to the owners for the milk biscuits & bread. Thank you Jane xx

Lovely cottage in a great location. Very well furnished and great attention to detail we felt very comfortable and relaxed here. The cottage was great for our kids aged 1&5 as it was all on one level it was great for the little one to cruise around and the 5 year old loved the space and garden with trampoline. The views are fantastic and my kids loved playing with the dog twig really enjoyable holiday will be back!

This single storey high quality cottage is located on a working farm north of Kendal with great views of the surrounding countryside. It makes a superb base for exploring this part of the UK. The owners John and Hazel are very welcoming and helpful and prepare their cottage to a very high standard. We have stayed in many cottages over the years and can genuinely say that this one is amongst the two best ones we have ever experienced. The cottage was created from existing farm buildings a couple of years ago and is fitted out with quality furniture as well as being decorated very tastefully. With underfloor central heating throughout it is also very warm and cosy for a winter break and the logburner in the lounge is a bonus. The WiFi is efficient and there are also TVs in the lounge and each bedroom. In summary, this cottage has absolutely everything you could need for a holiday in this area and we definitely intend to return in the future.

We stayed at Little Crake Howe for a week. The accommodation is fitted out to an excellent standard and is very good indeed. It has all you need for your stay. The bed was very comfortable, stunning views, not too far from the main town and quite well placed for visiting other parts of the Lake District and Yorkshire too. Highly recommend.

We have just returned from a week's stay at Little Crake House, what a shame we could not have stayed for longer, we were all sad to leave. The cottage is beautiful, it is well furnished with quality items right through, the bed's are so comfortable we would have liked to have brought them home, the photo's really do not do it justice, go & stay & you will know what I mean. The views are outstanding, there is plenty of parking & a lovely garden. It is well placed to visit the Lakes & also the Yorkshire Dales. John & Hazel are very friendly & there were some lovely goodies to welcome us when we arrived. Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful cottage, we will be back.

The cottage was beautifully decorated to a very high standard. It was great it rained so much as we had an excuse to stay in rather than go out! Cannot praise the cottage enough.

This is a fantastic cottage, in a truly beautiful location, surrounded by hills and dales. The owners are very good hosts, a great deal of thought had gone into the outlay of the cottage. The facilities were fantastic; including electronic blind and window openings for the bedrooms, yet still retaining a comfy cottage feel. Highly recommend.

We have just returned from a fantastic week at Little Crake Howe. The cottage is a perfect home away from home. Every detail has been carefully planned and the owners have made sure that you will want for nothing; from smart TVs to a kitchen which is incredibly stocked with beautiful crockery. The furnishings and décor are to a high standard and it was immaculately cleaned. It was a delight to return here every evening after exploring the local areas. We would recommend this cottage and hope to return in the future.

The cottage was pristine with all mod cons and no expense spared on furnishings. A washing machine was also provided in the utility room which was an added bonus. I cannot fault the property and will definitely recommend it to others and look forward to our next visit.

We had a fantastic family holiday at Little Crake Howe. The cottage is very well equipped and of a very high standard, a home from home. Our children loved the garden where they could play football and bounce on the trampoline. There is lots to do in the area for all the family, we can't wait to return sometime!

A real gem which more than matches the description in the web site. The location is ideal set in beautiful countryside which you access by walking out of the front door. Yet you are 20 minutes drive to the heart of the Lakes .However it is the quality of the facilities and the service of the owners which makes this cottage stand out.

This is excellent property, which is decorated and equipped to a very high standard. We really could not fault it at all. As an added bonus, the cottage is located on a working farm and it was lovely to see the livestock and wildlife nearby. The views of the countryside and hills, were a daily reminder of the great location of the cottage.
