5 miles south of Cartmel so is ideal if you would like to attend the Cartmel races as a shuttle bus is available from the nearby railway Cark station which is a few minutes walk away from the property. Within easy walking distance are several pubs, local convenience stores, bakery and take away, as well as Holker Hall which has a varied programme of events and Cark railway station, ideal for exploring the wider area without your car, maybe enjoy a trip to the lovely bay at Arnside and have a lovely stroll along the prom.
