First impressions were excellent, Holme Well was well maintained, comfortable, warm, homely accommodation, set in astounding scenery and a great walking area. My family made great use of the gym, swimming pool, and the table tennis. A great time was had by all.

We all appreciated the comfort of the accommodation, particularly the spacious lounge and the beauty of the surrounding Park, particularly the gardens of Graythwaite Hall.

A beautiful place, with cottages designed in and around a court yard. The accommodation was excellent and despite the weather, we managed to visit some lovely picturesque places. Both my two adult children agreed that they felt relaxed and would visit again. Used the pool and table tennis everyday. Would certainly recommend to others.

Loved the cottage! The beds were comfortable, it was cosy and contained everything we needed. The swimming pool and table tennis were a fab addition. Loved that we could take our 2 dogs. The location was beautiful and we loved being away from everything, especially a phone signal!

May 2015
The cottage was ideally placed in a quiet location had ample room for the size of our party. It more than met everyone's expectation from the online description the link to outside caterers was a real bonus, especially as we were celebrating a birthday. Graythwaite is both homely very well run, and is an excellent choice for anyone but particularly so for family groups.

Peaceful quiet and off the beaten track, so convenient for walks everywhere. The swimming pool was a bonus!

The accommodation was so off the beaten track, in the grounds of Graythwaite Hall. It was wonderfully peaceful and the swimming pool was a bonus. It was handy for our walks around Coniston, Windermere and visits to little towns and villages of interest. The on site manager was brilliant.
