As you step inside, you're greeted with a homely and warm atmosphere – we love that this home has a log burner for chillier nights. Ascend the spiral staircase, and you'll find two cosy bedrooms, the perfect spot to rest after a long walk. There's plenty to see nearby – Cartmel's charming village square offers a range of dining options, or explore the village’s 12th-century priory. If you want to visit the Lake District, Lake Windermere is just a short drive away.

*One well behaved dog is welcome for free – however, your host kindly asks that your dog is kept off the beds and furnishings. Please also bring your own bedding and towels for your dog.
*The ceiling in some areas is on the low side. It might not be suitable for taller guests.
*The main bedroom has a sink in the room.
*A starter supply of logs is provided for the wood burner.
*There's free private parking for two cars.
