You’ll find this loft conversion nestled in the heart of medieval Cartmel, home of the sticky toffee pudding. Traditional inns and Michelin-starred restaurants are right on the doorstep, and you’re a fifteen-minute drive from Lake Windermere for invigorating rambles. Back at the pad, the hot tub is the perfect place to end the day, while the private courtyard encourages alfresco dining when the sun’s shining. Out here, you’ll also find what was once the village’s ‘lock-up’, now serving as a cosy bedroom – though keep in mind space is minimal, so it might be better suited to one person rather than two.

*Just so you’re aware the second bedroom is located in an annexe, which is very compact in size.
*If you’ll be staying with a little one, your host can provide a cot upon request.
*In terms of parking, one vehicle can be accommodated in the garage, and a parking permit is provided for street parking for a second vehicle. Please note, large 4x4 vehicles may not fit in the garage.
*Please be mindful of your neighbours and keep noise to a minimum from 11pm to 7am.
