Barrow-in-Furness, commonly known as Barrow, is a town and borough in southern Cumbria, situated just where the Lakes meet the sea. Originally used as a hamlet to the biggest iron and steel centre in the world, the town is set around a picturesque backdrop of the Lake District Mountains and surrounded by stunning beaches and coastal walks. In the heart of the town is Barrow’s impressive Town Hall and its clock tower which can views from almost anywhere in the area. There is also a good range of cafes, bars and nightlife.
