In addition to the magnificent Furness Abbey, visitors can enjoy circular walks in various directions, access to a car park, and a cafe. A short drive to Walney Island, (5 miles) where you can appreciate the beautiful nature reserves at North and South Walney. Visitors may even have the chance to witness the seals! A visit to the charming Piel Island (6.5 miles), featured in National Geographic, is a must do activity and can be easily accessed by a quick ferry ride from the mainland. Upon entering the property through the grand archway, you are welcomed by exposed beams and stunning stonework surrounding the wood burner. The main lounge is a comfy space with plenty of room for two to relax whilst watching your favourite films on the Smart TV. Through the hallway, the amply supplied kitchen has everything you need to cook up a storm. Heading upstairs to the double bedroom, a cosy space to get your head down after a day exploring the local area. On the same floor, the beautifully tiled walk in shower room and separate WC offer a taste of luxury and convenience. Outside, to the rear of the property, the shared garden has a small area where you can soak up the sunshine.
