Area Set in a bowl of hills at the head of a tidal creek that leads to the Hamoaze, opposite the great naval city of Plymouth, Millbrook is located on the Rame Peninsula, "Cornwall's Forgotten Corner". Bounded by the Lynher and Tamar rivers, the Hamoaze and the sea, the area is deeply rural and designated as one of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village has a good range of shops and pubs, while close by are the pretty coastal villages of Kingsand and Cawsand, from which a ferry will take you to Plymouth. Along the southern edges of the peninsula are miles of beautiful walks with glorious views of Rame Head. Just a mile south of Millbrook lies Whitsand Bay with its miles of uncrowded sandy RNLI patrolled beach and dramatic cliffs. A superb base for discovering the wild side of Cornwall.

Note: From the road, access to Glenavon is via 100m of uneven coastal footpath followed by 70 steps. It is not suitable for guests with limited mobility. Note: Due to the open nature of the rear garden, this property is not suitable for children under 8 and older children and pets must be under close control at all times. Note: This property has a 4pm check in time. Note: There is an allocated parking space for use during your stay at Glenavon. From the top of the path leading to the chalet and beach (What3Words location “simulator.active.flaking”), go East along military road for a further 80m. On the left of the road there are three reserved parking bays , marked out with posts and chains, serving the three chalets which are on this section of cliff. The third (Easternmost) bay is marked “Glenavon” (The What3Words location for this is “rescuer.unhelpful.standing”).
The parking space is chained-off to prevent unauthorized use. Please take the chain down whilst parking, but ensure it is up at all other times, especially when vacating the bay.
