Area
Golowan, the Midsummer Carnival, and The Literary Festival are all held in Penzance. Moreover, there are the Penlee, Newlyn, and Exchange art galleries. The breathtaking sweep of Mount's Bay, which stretches from the cliffside fishing village of Mousehole through Penzance and around to lovely Marazion, is one of Cornwall's most well-liked vacation spots. The coastline conceals a wealth of sandy beaches, rocky coves, as well as winding village streets and other places to visit and explore. The National Trust's breathtakingly gorgeous St. Michael's Mount, with its hilltop fortress and Mediterranean gardens, is connected by a causeway to the sea at Marazion. When the tide is low, you can walk across and then ride one of the ferry boats back. Penzance is a must-see since it serves as both the harbour and the starting point for day tours to the Islands of Scilly, and it has winding streets, shops, clubs, restaurants, and a harbour. The South West Coast Path, which travels through Penzance on its route to Land's End, winds along the clifftops. On the way, pause in the lovely Lamorna Cove for a coffee and a rest, tour the outdoor Minack Theatre, and take in the cliff views as you get closer to Gwennap Head. A beautiful walk for anyone looking for peace, exercise, and some of the best coastline vistas in the Country. Penzance is the ideal vacation home base. Excellent location for visiting this region of Celtic myth and folklore, with plenty of things to see and do nearby to keep the whole family busy.
