This was the worst holiday we have experienced and by far the filthiest property we have ever stayed in! From the moment we walked through the door and started to see the muck and dirt everywhere, we felt uncomfortable! We contacted the 'property manager' who just replied saying she could come out and clean it again, yet she had already had over 8 hours to do so! The bed pillows were absolutely disgusting, full of yellow and brown stains yet they had even had the cheek to put pillow protectors on them? The floors hadn't been washed at all, the kitchen blind looked as though it had never been wiped, the cooker was so disgusting that we were unable to cook anything all week! The toaster smelt and was absolutely full of crumbs, not sure when that was last emptied? The shower was also a death trap, no shower mat provided and no grip handle inside, our daughter has a very serious fall and a s a result, she was left in a lot of pain. The entire property required a full deep clean and in the current times of cleaners having extended hours to do this with covid rules being in place, we were disgusted that we were expected to stay in it! We left a day early, we never received a refund for the day either!! The holiday Company were no help what so ever, they never phoned back when they said they would, never responded to emails, just excuse after excuse when we phoned them! We will NEVER book with this Sykes or it's umbrella companies again! It was quite frankly appalling, the service and aftercare is none existent! Nobody has even apologised over any of it either, the staff we did get through to on the phone were rude and obnoxious too, they had no intention of trying to help or sort the problems out!
