The holiday flat, above the owners garage, was tastefully finished; reds in the living area and turquoise in the bedroom. Even the bed sheet was turquoise! The kitchen area of the living room was spotlessly clean with fan oven, induction hob and fridge – washing machine was downstairs. The shower room, downstairs, had a good shower and benefited from an instant fan heater. On entering, the downstairs corridor felt cold, but we just flipped on the oil heater and it soon felt better. The garden area was well equipped with large table and chairs, a bench, BBQ and log burner.
Helen and Paul the owners were helpful, getting a map and walking guidebook for our use and laying on a Cornish cream tea for us on arrival. Beware they live on an unmade road with many potholes.
Bugle is a great place to tour Cornwall from. The Eden Project just 10mins away and Lands End and hour. We had thought it might be nice to be in walking distant of a pub, but The Bugle Inn was a bit too ‘local’ for us. There was a handy Spar shop though.
