Poldark Cottage is a lovely cottage situated in the village of Charlestown just one and a half miles from St. Austell in Cornwall. The cottage can sleep six people in three king-size double bedrooms, two can be twin beds on request, together with bathroom and shower room. Also in the cottage is a kitchen and a sitting room with dining area and log burner. Outside is off road parking for three cars and a garden with patio and furniture. Poldark Cottage is in an ideal location for exploring this beautiful area.

Three bedrooms: 3 x king-size doubles (two with zip/link can be twins on request). Bathroom with bath, separate shower, basin and WC. Shower room with shower, basin and WC. Kitchen. Living/dining room with woodburning stove.

Area
A delightful and much sought-after coastal village of stone cottages and Regency houses, on the south coast near St. Austell. Famous for its collection of tall ships riding at anchor in the harbour, the shipwreck museum, excellent pubs and restaurants and easy access to the coastal path, it's the perfect holiday destination. It has even been used as a filming location, most well known for appearing in Poldark.

Cornwall's visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain's premier holiday destinations.

A very nice, clean and well presented house which provided a good base for our week long visit to Cornwall.. Excellent beds and facilities. (Wash basin taps drain slowly and some brochures were last year's. Otherwise excellent.)

What an amazing location.. The cottage was perfect and well equipt with two showers which was a bonus. We stayed over Christmas and it felt like home from home. The mince pies and clotted cream that were there when we arrived was a nice touch.It was spotless and very comfy in all areas.Would definitely recommend to friends and family and would love to go back in the summer as an excellent base for seeing Cornwall.

Very modern, clean and comfortable place.. Parking right outside and restaurants / cafe's / beer gardens / sea a few minutes walk away. Very quiet dead end lane. A fantastic place to stay. Walking from cottage (coastal path in both directions, Pinetum gardens) and places to visit a short drive away (Eden Project, Heligan, Screech Owl and lots more).

Poldark Cottage was perfect for us and our family.. It was in an excellent position with a very short walk to the harbour but up a lane that was quiet. Parking spot was also very useful as Charlestown can be very busy. There was a private garden at the back and the house was furnished very well, with all the facilities we needed. We would definitely love to stay there again.

The description of the cottage on your website was completely accurate, there were no nasty surprises when we arrived, the cottage itself was beautiful.. clean, comfortable and very well equipped even down to baking trays for the oven. There was nothing that had been missed, the provision of tea coffee etc including a pint of milk to enable us to make a hot drink on arrival was really appreciated. It was a wonderful holiday and didn't want to leave.

Poldark cottage was excellent, modern, very well appointed and spotless.. Its rear garden is quite private and a good place to chill out, with a drink or two, under the sunshade. Situated right in the centre of Charlestown, with its own parking, made it a good base from which to investigate the local area. It is two minutes walk from the old historic harbour, a small array of shops, several good restaurants and two pubs. Definitely recommend The Long House and Wreckers, both had excellent food and service. This property is well above average, in a good location, we were very happy with our choice.

A beautiful well presented cottage that comfortably accommodates up to 6 adults in 3 double bedrooms with option of double or twin beds.. Ideally situated in the centre of Charlestown port, 2 minutes walk from the quayside and restaurants. Immaculately clean when we arrived and all necessary facilities. We will use Poldark cottage again when we return.

Poldark Cottage is very clean,peaceful and relaxing.. A two minute walk takes you to Harbour cafes, shops. We were not disturbed by any noise as the lane to the house is quiet as it's a no through lane.The garden has lovely patio table and chairs with awning so you can sit out and enjoy the sound of the brook that runs past the back of the house. We would definitely recommend Poldark cottage and would book again. Thank you for a brilliant stay in Poldark Cottage Charlestown.
