Fairwinds, a reverse-level house, consists of a kitchen with electric range oven, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, a dining room with dining seating for eight, and a sitting room with Smart TV and woodburning stove. The bedrooms consist of a ground-floor king-size, a ground-floor child's bunk, lower ground-floor double with Smart TV, and lower ground-floor double. Bathroom with bath, shower over, walk-in shower, basin, and WC, and shower room with walk-in shower, basin, and WC. WiFi, fuel, power, starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen, and towels are included. Travel cot and highchair available. Outside, there is an enclosed rear courtyard with artificial lawn, barbecue, outdoor shower facility, non-enclosed side garden with decking, furniture, and off-road parking for two cars. Area
With its sheltered harbour, beautiful Portreath was, in the 1800s, a hive of activity and industry as a major tin-exporting port. Today, the village attracts visitors from around the world with its wild and rugged coastline. High cliffs, secluded coves and sandy, surf-washed beaches typify the area while all around are reminders of the area's rich industrial heritage. Portreath offers a small fishing harbour, shops, a number of pubs, three cafés and a Chinese restaurant, while its safe, sheltered sandy beach is a popular attraction. For a great day out, visit the cathedral city of Truro with its cobbled streets, shopping centre, theatre, museum and great restaurants, just 14 miles away, or travel a few miles along the coast and follow the vast expanse of sandy beach, which leads down to Hayle and on to St Ives. A delightful holiday location.
