A charming village called Shortlanesend is located halfway between Truro and Perranporth. The Idless Woods and The Watts Nature Reserve are only a couple of the neighbouring attractions offered by the village, which is located in the former Carrick District. The Old Plough and Penrose Kitchen are two places to eat, while the Shortlanesend Store is where you can fill up on necessities. The bustling cathedral city of Truro, which houses the Royal Cornwall Museum and the self-titled Truro Cathedral, is only a short distance from the settlement.
