Blue Reef is a compact but well appointed cottage with everything we needed for a lovely, relaxing holiday.. In a beautiful part of the country filled with lovely walks, great industrial heritage and with 3 pubs within short walking distance, we heartily recommend Blue Reef as a base for a well earned break.

Return visit - fantastic Winter let with log burner and gas central heating. Quickly warms up for a real cosy and quiet break. Furnishings as new, good quality bed linen, towels & very clean. Pendeen has a number of pubs within easy walking distance with good reasonably priced food. Good base for walking on coast path with spectacular granite scenery. Visited St Ives and Mousehole this Trip. Easy to find - wIll return again.

The cottage was absolutely fine, although a little light in terms of what was provided in the kitchen - for instance no jug of any description.. A word to the owners to review the inventory might be appropriate.

We really enjoyed our weekend stay and wished we could have stayed longer. Everything was neat and clean on arrival. We found the beds warm and comfortable and slept really well. The wood burner in the lounge made it super cosy in the evenings. It was a wonderful place to get away from it all, delightfully rural with horses and cows in the field, but at the same time conveniently located for the local store and North Inn. Will definitely be going back.

Lovely cottage.. Beautiful area. We had a wonderful family holiday with our toddler. We recommend to visit St.Ives, Sennen Coves/Land's end, Polperro, Looe,... and also to go to the lighthouse in Pendeen, there's a nice walk from the cottage till the lighthouse. Also great pubs in Pendeen, lovely town. Cornwall is really beautiful. We recommend both the cottage and the area. Just take care with the low roof in the stairs that go upstairs :) The fireplace is lovely. The kitchen is perfect.

Had a wonderful time, the property has been redecorated and everything is new. Old miners cottage with many character features including a granite fireplace with log burner – which gives off a lot of heat quickly warming and creating a comfortable cosy atmosphere (great in December). The thick granite walls are a good sound dampener, we were very impressed at how quiet the house actually is with a silence ‘presence’. In our experience a bit different to the usual holiday let. We were unable to take advantage of the tidy paved rear yard with a big table & chairs looking out over the fields and sea in the distance – West facing, imagine will be great in Summer A great location for exploring West Cornwall’s / St Just’s UNESCO World Heritage Coast within easy walking distance to the coast path, cliffs & spectacular scenery - real Poldark country. Also in easy walking distance the North Inn - a proper pub in the old sense of the word with good food and a great local community following. Easy to find and good street parking.
