So disappointed, the mattresses were really cheap and so uncomfortable. Probably only about 12 springs in the whole thing. I suspect because a good mattress would be difficult to get up the steep stairs. We arrived during one of the hottest periods we’ve had. 10.5 tog quilts, again really cheap ones on the beds. We enquired of the rental company and were told the owner said that’s all there was, no room to store anything else. During summer months surely a lighter weight should replace them. The garden was totally overgrown, it was impossible to tell whether it was safe for the dogs, the pond wasn’t visible. The TV was on its last legs, it kept having pixilation issues after it had been on a little while. There were quite a few other issues

Beautiful Traditional cottage with lovely gardens and easy parking in an amazingly peaceful location. Clean, well equipped, comfy beds, decent wifi and great place to explore the Cornish coast and moors. Pet friendly (but didn't smell of stale dogs!). Service from the agents/owners was best I've experienced. If you need to get away and chill out you could do far worse than staying here. Highly recommended and will definitely stay here again

Lovely cosy and traditional cottage in a wonderfully tranquil location in a great location to explore Bodmin moor and the coast.. Skies were so clear at night we could even see The Milky Way! Really nice garden (which our dog especially enjoyed) and large easy parking area right outside. We had a minor wifi issue on arrival, but Sykes and the owners went over and above to sort out really quickly with absolutely no problem whatsoever. Overall, the cottage, location and service are superb and would highly recommend a stay here if you want a peaceful break away. We will definitely be booking again.

Tinners Cottage is a delight although there would be an issue with insufficient hot water if a family were to stay.. We managed to muddle through between three adults but found we had to boil the kettle for washing up if one of us wanted a bath. That being said location was ideal. Beds very comfortable. Shower was lovely. Enclosed garden is brilliant for dogs.

The cottage was very comfortable, every thing needed for a holiday was there.. From washing machine tablets to dish washer tablets. The only thing I missed was a radio, but the tv had radio channels. The beds were extremely comfortable, I was worried that there were no blankets in case of being cold at night but the quilts were warm. I could not fault the cottage at all. The garden was delightful, so quiet, no cars, no noise. Lovely walks for the dogs and near historic sights, shops and not forgetting Tragopan Mills. I would certainly book the cottage again, maybe later in the year or early next year. Please pass my thanks to all the staff and cleaners who made my stay so memorable. Kind regards Jane Lawrence
