True to traditional Cornish living and surrounded by beautiful scenery, Kingsand and Cawsand still deliver the unspoiled experience of sleepy coastal villages from another time. Get a taste of the calm Cornish life in this recently renovated cottage that's been fully modernised but retains its character with exposed brickwork and wooden floors. We particularly enjoyed the ample kitchen, boasting chunky worktops and a huge range cooker where you can whip up a hearty meal with fresh, local produce. The living areas are stylish with a subtle nautical theme and – most importantly – they invite you to gather around the wood-burning fire for long evenings of laughter and conversation. If you want to explore other corners of this beautiful county, the beautiful fishing port of Looe is a little over thirty minutes away, while Fowey, Bodmin Moor and St Austell are approximately an hour's drive.
Home truths: * Self check-in via lockbox
* We'd recommend a vehicle to explore the area fully
* There is a marked space outside for short-stay parking and unloading only – however, there is a large paid parking facility a four-minute walk away
* It's spread across three levels, so some stairs are unavoidable
* Dogs are welcome (unfortunately no cats), but a charge of £25 per pet per stay/week will be applicable and required before your stay – your host will arrange this with you after booking confirmation
