Quarry Cottage is a cosy cottage on three levels in a quiet road, just two minutes stroll from the pub, shops and quay in Flushing. It sleeps 5 (maximum of four adults and one child) in three bedrooms a double, twin and a single with family shower room. Open-plan living-dining room and kitchen area which has a door to the courtyard. The courtyard has garden furniture. A handy base for sailing, coastal walking and enjoying many local events and regattas. The nautical town of Falmouth is nearby with its excellent maritime museum.

Over three floors.Three bedrooms: 1 x first floor double, 1 x first floor single, 1 x second floor twin. Open-plan living area with sitting area with wood burner, kitchen and dining area. First floor shower room, with shower, basin and WC.

Area
Falmouth, with its magnificent natural harbour (the third largest in the world), winding streets and beaches, will keep you occupied for hours. The town's old harbourside pubs, excellent shopping, art gallery and stunning National Maritime Museum simply complete the picture.

Region
Cornwall's visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain's premier holiday destinations.

The quirkiness added so much charm to the cottage.. Surprisingly a lot larger than it looks from the outside. The homely touches (dog treats, dog blanket, cleaning products, Cornish biscuits, tea, coffee and fresh milk in the fridge) were a lovely added bonus. Good sized towels were also appreciated, a big bug bare of ours is these titchy towels you often get in hotels! Two great pubs in the village serving good food. Cornwall is very dog friendly. Falmouth and St Ives are must see visits.

We had a lovely time cornwall is beatiful and flushing and falmouth were great ideally situated from seeing all over cornwall only downside was parking there was none.. we will be back again thank you mary

The cottage is perfectly located for ease of access to surroundings.. The arms on the sofa are very hard on the edges and both of my sons banged their heads on them on separate occasions. The parking is terrible for all, on many an occasion we had to park at the top of a very big hill and walk back down to the cottage. Overall the cottage is lovely and is very clean and well equipped.

We had a superb holiday, and a huge factor of it being fabulous was our lovely little cottage.. So charming. Flushing itself is also a beautiful place to stay. Would highly recommend Quarry cottage.

We were so pleased to find a property 1) back with helpful holidays and that had not been taken over by some of the overpriced agencies that seem to think every one needs a 5star property that you don’t feel comfortable in.. 2) at a great price and excellent value for money. 3) A home from home that was fantastically kitted out, comfortable, spotless and beautiful I have spent my whole life coming to Flushing with my family and could not have asked more of what we received; Dee was a wonderful and so welcoming on our arrival, Helpful Holidays service is second to none. Well done and thank you so much for making our holiday so wonderful.
