Nanparra cottage is a little gem it is in a lovely peaceful location but not too far from places to visit National Trust properties Glendurgan and Trellissick not far away and a local shop and public house just a short walk away in Mawnan Smith the cottage itself is clean and comfortable linen and towels very good quality also very well equipped with everything you need and plenty of space we had an enjoyable week and would recommend this cottage ..

This cottage failed too meet expectations.. as we had a eight mile diversion to find the place due to the road closure only 50 yards from the cottage. there was no garden just a small patio at the front door. parking was very awkward. drying facilities a 2ft 6 in wide gap at the back of the cottage with rock faced wall and a clothes line . lack of information for services and history of the cottage

Cottage is comfortable, quiet and very clean.. A great base for exploring this area of Cornwall. Plenty of walks and a beach near by. So good we have booked it again for next year !!!

A heads-up about the road works 50 yards away would have been nice - our shortest access to Falmouth was cut off due to the diversion.. Don't be so cheap with the toilet paper - a spare roll would have been useful.

Cottage was wonderful.. Did not get no correspondance after booking holiday apart from once with address and where to get key. Would of been nice to have had bit more reassurance week before we left. Plenty of sale bumf though.

We did have an enjoyable week in spite of a very disappointing first impression, but it took some determination and positive thinking.. There were roadworks 100 metres awsy, a bit of a sell( turned out from the oil central heating,) , and the beds were very very hard. One of the single beds was slightly softer than the double so I used that. Keeping windows open and the door to the boiler room shut dealt with the smell, but allowed in the noise! So the workmen turned up at 7.30 am Monday to Friday, starting the diggers or other machinery just before 8am. The roadside front sitting area was the only outside space, but imposible to use in the day. It was nice at the weekend and after 5pm, so we just had to get out during the day. We did like some attractions nearby, especially Trebah Gardens and Helford Pasdage and luckily the weather was ok. The roadworks are due to finish by the end of September, so that will probably be ok but I think it was wrong not to warn us or give a discount.

We have stayed in many holiday cottages over the years, but nanparra cottage is the best we have seen.. The cottage was immaculate. Set in a lovely peaceful location, yet close to all the local amenities. The kitchen was wonderful. Equipped with everything you could possibly need. Including a very good knife block with SHARP cooking knives! Halilieuah! Wonderful, cozy accommodation with all the convenience of home and more. An absolute credit to the owners, whom I hope get to read this review. We will undoubtedly be booking again, (as my sister in law lives in Falmouth), and look forward very much to our next visit.

Excellent cottage.. Everything was high quality. Beautifully situated. Sykes admin was excellent for a last minute booking but bad that the contact mobile number for the owner was wrong. Look forward to working with you again.
