Schusterhäusl Apartment 2 Mayrhofen, Tyrol

We stayed for a week with 8 men in the Schusterhäusl. We had two individual apartments that can be reached via an outside balcony. It is heated entirely with electricity. The hot water is also generated with electricity! Attention cost trap because electricity is billed separately!!!! There is no dishwasher!! But a bio bucket for the critters. Unfortunately, the whole house smells afterwards because cows are kept on the ground floor. Not recommended despite the low price

It's a family's big house. They speak zero english. They were also not in during the check-in time! We waited, concerned. The apartment for 12 is actually split into 3 separate apartments. You must traverse the big house to travel between them, it's not convenient, there is no big communal area. No consumables, not even toilet paper, you must buy everything. Everything is old, single glazed, electric heating (you pay for it!), hot water unpredictable, flat old pillows, not enough cutlery. Avoid.

The accommodation was as described, the elderly couple who are responsible for the rental were very nice. Therefore, our stay was uncomplicated, only the mattresses could be renewed.

The complex looked a bit dated. True Austrian atmosphere. Beds were on the short side for us ... Super Location relative to the gondola. What I thought was a shame was that the complex was full and therefore not enough heating for the available ski boots. It is also a pity that the apartments are electrically heated and that there is no WIFI available. Hostess was very helpful
