Bauernhaus Schusterhäusl Mayrhofen, Tyrol

I can't understand some of the reviews: the rooms were all clean, the kitchen was well equipped for 10 people, and we slept well and quietly in the beds. OK, it's an old house with appropriate furnishings. That didn't bother us. The open living concept means you don't have your own holiday apartment, as other guests share the staircase. The landlords are very nice, the bread roll service is excellent. There are a total of 5 parking spaces at the house.

The house is very well located and very cozy. In addition, the owners are super friendly and accommodating, always happy to come back. Great accommodation;

The accommodation was good and, as we expected for the price, was basically furnished. The landlady was super nice and helpful. What was not clear from the advert and was also a bit annoying is that the second floor was not only occupied by our group, but also by another tour group. We had the third floor all to ourselves.

Overall, we enjoyed the stay having everything what we need. Except one thing, the heat was very poor during the day and missing through the night. There were almost 18-19 degrees Celsius and we even asked the owner to warm a bit more the place. Never happened. Beside that, acceptable kitchen, equipped with dishwasher, cooker and fridge. The place was close to the ski lift and was in a quiet neighborhood.

Living space for 10 people is really too small, 1 time in the evening the power went out and then no one was available. Bedrooms are good shower room very small .

Very rustic accommodation. Recommended: take hand soap, toilet paper, dishwashing tabs, rubbish bags with you. Kitchen is very small for 14 people (we were with 8 adults and 6 children). A high chair and travel cot is not available. Bread rolls must be ordered by 6 p.m. the day before. Beds are very short (so not for tall people). Very rustic wardrobes (some without shelves, just hangers).
