A spacious well equipped comfortable holiday home, only a few minor niggles the electric shower control knobs in the en-suite are seized and cannot be adjusted , the single beds are not as comfortable as the king sized bed, all the sheets are not big enough for the beds and come out at night especially the single beds (fitted type recommended ), recommend a private bin collection as local authority system does not work well with holiday letting as our many years of experience with other holiday lets has revealed.. The broadband wifi is barely 5Mb this really is too low for todays expectations for this quality of property , streaming and multiple use is limited and frustrating (up to 50Mb available in the area).
Fantastic garden with lots of bird life but no shade (sun parasole or similar would be useful ) when the sun has been as hot as it has this last two weeks.
Games room a definite bonus for distraction purposes. Local hotel only open in the evening for meals, walk to Charlestown is rugged and not suitable for mobility impared, also no pavements to speak of.
Beach is a longer walk than you think especially coming back uphill, £2 to park all day up till 5pm then free. Disabled can park at the beach with the arrangements of the attendants with a valid blue badge (I found out too late).
Portable fans would be useful as an extra for hot weather I bring my own just in case and several properties are now providing them.
The extra drinks fridge was an item I want at home now we can chill bottles of pop and wine standing up as well as beers cans etc.
All in all a great property in a good location for lots of attractions , meals locally excellent although pricey a trip to Polgooth Inn a must (tight roads).
