Lovely cottage with a rural outlook.. Cosy but modern interior with everything we needed. The welcome basket was a thoughtful touch, and the beds were really comfortable. We enjoyed the log burner during our visit, which made it even cosier. Tidy private garden which would be great to sit out in on a Summer evening. Access to walks at nearby Soulton Hall was good too; we enjoyed a walk through the woods. The cottage is situated close to Whitchurch for shopping, restaurants and pubs, plus close to road network for tourist visits to places a little further afield.

A lovely cottage for a relaxing break.. I was most impressed by the services of Sykes in attending to every detail to ensure our holiday went as smoothly as possible--a real pleasure to deal with.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful rural location, which is also convenient for visiting many towns, such as Shrewsbury, Chester, etc.. , plus various National Trust properties. Cottage is equipped with virtually anything that one might need and there was a comprehensive welcome pack. Although there are no wardrobes because of the sloping ceilings on the first floor, (which adds to the character), there are plenty of hooks and a good supply of hangers and we found it more than adequate for our needs for a week long holiday. The Super-king size bed in the main bedroom is very comfortable, though the pure cotton bedding does rustle a bit! :-) We would be more than happy to stay here again, if we planned a holiday in the same area.

Fabulous cottage with everything you could think of.. Wonderful welcome basket and very homely. We really enjoyed our stay, you can really tell the owners go out of their way to think of everything for your comfort. The only negative I could mention is that there was some noise from the nearby road.

Something to be considered when booking this cottage.. .. you have to drive everywhere it isn’t safe to walk on the main roads due to the heavy traffic and no paths.

One or two things.. no nonslip mat in bath and shower this could be potentialy dangerous. pity no wardrobes im sure theres scope for at least one. could be improved with a small patio. garden needs weeding. all in all these are small things but need pointing out. the cottage is most comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

A lovely cottage on the edge of farm land and no neighbours.. A comprehensive basket of goodies including wine was there to greet us and a dog basket including doggy towels for our Lhasa Apso. NOTE: The two single beds put together in the main bedroom were the most comfortable my wife and I have ever slept in including our own at home.

Whilst on the whole the cottage was what we expected we were extremely disappointed and inconvenienced by the fact that there were no wardrobes anywhere in the accommodation.. All that was available were a row of four/five hooks in each bedroom with eight hangers between two bedrooms. Due to this we had to locate the nearest Argos and go out on arrival to purchase a hanging rail which was not at all what we expected to do. However, I do appreciate that not all buildings can accommodate all features but strongly believe that not to be made aware of this is wrong. On the plus side the owners left an extremely generous welcome pack which was lovely and very much appreciated and as I said the cottage was what we expected and we did have a relaxing holiday and did enjoy staying there - thank you.

This was a lovely cottage to stay in, the owners seemed to have gone the extra mile to help us have a nicest stay possible! There were four adults and a baby and a dog, but it still felt plenty big enough, and everything was carried out to a high standard. Overall, a really nice place to stay - we would highly recommend.
