Picadore is a second floor apartment set above the owner's picture gallery in the heart of Scarborough. The apartment sleeps up to four people in one family room with a king-size double and a single daybed. There is also a wet room, an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area with a sofa bed and a utility. Outside there is roadside parking available on a first come first served basis with a permit provided. With amenities on your doorstep and a variety of activities available nearby, Picadore provides a fantastic base for a brilliant holiday.

All second floor. One family bedroom with 1 king-size double and 1 single daybed with Jack-and-Jill access to wet room. Wet room with shower, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with sofa bed. Utility.

Area
Popular since Victorian times, the vibrant seaside town of Scarborough retains many of its original fine buildings, parks and gardens, as well as its historic castle which overlooks the town. North Bay and South Bay provide two superb stretches of beautiful, golden sandy beaches, popular with families and small children. There are a number of child friendly activities and many excellent visitor attractions for grown-ups too, including the Stephen Joseph Theatre, Scarborough Spa and Scarborough Open Air Theatre for live music.

Region
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

The Picador Apartment is a lovely modern well equipped apartment.. It is spacious, good kitchen, nice crockery, cutlery. Good utility room with all amenities and cleaning materials. Large lounge diner nice soft furnishings and Modern TV. Bedroom well furnished, comfy bed and pillows with good quality bedding and towels. Spacious shower room, good water pressure for shower. The location is ideal for the North and South bays and nearby a variety restaurants public bars and local supermarkets. The owner is very helpful and welcoming. The apartment is perfect for a self catering holiday. Highly recommend and we will return. Many thanks to the owner.

Lovely flat, all mod cons. Really only a couple of minutes from both North and South Bay and Scarborough Castle and close to old town and town centre. Plenty of parking options. And most important to us: dog friendly. So is the owner.

A beautiful fantastic flat to stay .. A perfect host .Friendly and always there in the shop or on the end of the phone if you needed anything. A totally enjoyable holiday and would recommend the picadore to everyone...We will definately be returning there for our next holiday.

We had a lovely week in Scarborough.. Martin was a very friendly, helpful man. The flat is lovely. Very stylish. I loved playing around with the mood lighting on the remote control. Every colour, you could change it whenever you want. Martin put up a Christmas tree for us and some decorations which made it feel very cosy. The location is perfect, about as central as you can get. We came by train, and everything was in walking distance. North shore and South shore really easy to walk to, and shops only a couple of minutes on the doorstep. Pubs, restaurants, takeaways, excellent amenities. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Picadore and Scarborough. A lovely town any time of year!!! Thanks Debbie and steve Loughborough.

Excellent holiday apartment, well located with short walk to the North and South Beaches and the town centre and with plenty of on street parking.. The apartment has everything you need and it shows that a lot of care and thought has been put into making it as homely as possible. Wouldn't hesitate to return in the future.

Thank you, once again, a successful holiday cottage sourced through Sykes.. We appreciate the easy to use search facility on your website. The search term combinations mean that we can search for a particular week and number of people and pet AND find somewhere that is close to the coast and within our price range. We've found that other sites are not as easy to use. We're not so keen on the pop-up 'someone just booked in Durham' messages though - unnecessary and annoying. Worst of all - it can end up covering up your own search results - maybe get rid of that before it starts to put people off!
